The mandatory daily checklist

When going through my life on the day to day, week to week sort of thing I always ensure I hit certain boxes to keep myself in shape and on track
A few of these include:
Cardio whenever I can
no matter what day it is if there’s a spare 15-30 mins in a day then I’ll try bag a little cycle, run or even just a walk to get myself moving but the key thing to having a consistent physique and healthy lifestyle is making sure the excuses are kept short and your timing is taken advantage of.
Take the time to check in
often it’s easy to feel caught up in a cycle of working, socialising, sleeping and making sure you hit your own goals even if that’s something as simple as 3 meals a day instead of two. When on your tirade, taking 20 minutes a day (I do 10 in the morning, 10 at night) to kind of put the brain in gear, focused and dialled on what’s the best plan of action to take with your goals. It also serves as a good point to escape any thought loops you might have been in.
Genuinely using the 5 a day rule
Nobodies perfect, so don’t worry about what’s in the past or what’s to come in terms of getting the fruit and veg in, all that’s mandatory is that you day by day, attack the 5 a day rule as best you can. Find the avenues where you can swap out a snack for a fruit or add veg to a meal you’ve been having for years. Anything helps!
