My top tips for treating your back pain that you may or may not find to hit the spot and release the tension holding you back!
Tip 1 -
Daily stretching,
At least 15 minutes a day I have spent the past 7 months doing a proper stretching session (usually targeting my lower and upper back areas and my shoulders) and I there’s no doubting the difference in freedom I feel moving around and keeping my head held high everyday, constant release in tension and lactic acid build up keeps your joints nice and slippy so you can move freely!
Tip 2 -
Get off the screens,
A lot of people (myself included) are sat at a 90 degree angle, bug eyed and not paying attention to their spine whatsoever when studying, watching videos or movies, even texting for longer periods of time. After all those activities I bet you notice the difference when you straighten yourself back upright and everything clicks into place. Genuinely deleting social media, getting outside more and making an active effort to keep my spine straight when doing things like studying instantly changed the why I felt and eventually naturally the way I held myself too, everything wasn’t so strained and pulling all the time so my whole body became more at rest. Definitely worth a try!
tip 3 -
Last but not least, the spiky back mat,

Most people in the gym industry will have seen these or heard of these mats and for the longest time I was sceptical of what laying on a mat for 40 minutes would do for me. From the first try I felt ease like no other, from lower back to middle upper back it felt brand new, haven’t stopped using the mat since, and have passed the inspiration on to a few close friends who all preach its benefits!
that’s all I’ve got today, all the best,
